Oogie Brite
Industrial Design
OVERVIEW
This was a project for Oogiebear when I was a part of the Klugonyx team.
The project consisted of creating a solution for a nose cleaning device for babies that would expose any blockages inside the nose, thanks to a lighting system.

THE COMPETITION
The Original Oogiebear is one of their most successful products on their lineup and with this addition of this new product, the Oogie Brite needed to fit the current brand identity and feel like it's part of the family.
There have been several attempts at what Oogiebear was trying to attempt here, many with great solutions. The Oogiebear's success due to their brand and the design of the original product made this project that much more exciting.
First Phase of Ideation
ORIGINAL PROTOTYPE
This was a previous design Oogiebear wasn't too pleased with, done by an engineering firm they had previously worked with. The clients felt it was too chunky at the stem, hence the reason they approached Klugonyx seeking a solution.
BATTERIES
Understanding where the batteries needed to be was the driving factor of this project.
ACCESORIES
It was discussed that accessories would play a role within the design process. Here, we can see an attachable magnifying glass in the form of the Oggiebear's ear.
Second Phase of Ideation
PROTOTYPES
In this phase, we can explore some of the prototypes that came from sketches in the initial ideation phase.

Final Phase
FINAL ITERATION
This is what our solution looked like. We wanted it to be a sleek product that aligned with their current offerings, falling right into place of the Oogiebear brand.
